Best Agrolife Receives Patent for Insecticide Formulation “Nemagen”

26 July 2024, New Delhi: Best Agrolife Ltd (BAL) has announced that it has received a new patent for its innovative insecticide formulation ‘Nemagen’.

Nemagen is a broad-spectrum insecticide that combines three active ingredients (AI) that is  Chlorantraniliprole, Novaluron, and Emamectin Benzoate. This formulation offers exceptional control over a wide array of pests, particularly targeting lepidopteran pests such as shoot and fruit borers. It is highly effective against Coleoptera and Diptera pests. With lepidopteran pests becoming increasingly resistant to existing insecticides, Nemagen is timely and effective solution, potentially reducing crop losses by 30% to 50%.

The versatility of Nemagen allows for its application at various stages of crop growth, making it suitable for use on vegetables, field crops, fruit crops, and pulses.
