Sumil Chemical Launches New Product ‘Sul-Xtra’
17 September 2024, New Delhi: Sumil Chemical Industries Pvt. Ltd. recently launched its new product ‘Sul-Xtra’ in Lucknow. The event saw the presence of key company officials, including Mr. Anjani Manbansh, Head of Crop Nutrition; Mr. Ravish Singh, Senior GM – Crop Nutrition and Biological; Mr. NB Patel, National Sales Head; and Regional Managers Mr. AK Singh and Mr. Man Singh. Dealers and distributors also attended the launch event.
During the launch, Mr. Manbansh provided detailed insights into Sul-Xtra, describing it as a patented granular DG (Dispersible Granules) formulation of sulphur. The product’s unique SRT (Sustained Release Technology) ensures prolonged nutrient supply, while promoting the absorption of other essential nutrients. Its DG formulation aids in the rapid uptake of sulphur, and it can be easily applied with seed drills or mixed with other fertilisers.
As per the company, Sul-Xtra lays a strong foundation for healthy and productive crops. It helps in reducing soil alkalinity by improving soil pH. The product promotes uniform and healthy germination, resulting in better crop establishment and robust root development. Additionally, it improves nutrient content in crops, helping them withstand biotic and abiotic stress during early growth stages. Higher yields lead to increased farmer income.
Farmers can apply Sul-Xtra before sowing or at the time of sowing/transplanting. For row crops, it can be mixed with fertilisers and applied as a basal dose using a seed drill. For fruit and vegetable crops, it should be applied near the root zone using the ring or spot method. For optimal results, cover the applied product with soil, and use at a rate of 10 kg per acre.
