Notice Regarding Extension of Supply Agreement with MSD Animal Health for Fluralaner
14 April 2025, Japan: Nissan Chemical Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & COO: YAGI Shinsuke, hereinafter “Nissan Chemical”) announces that a long-term supply agreement extension with MSD Animal Health for “Fluralaner” has concluded.
“Fluralaner” invented by Nissan Chemical is the active pharmaceutical ingredient of “BRAVECTO®” and “EXZOLT®”, veterinary pharmaceutical products developed and distributed by MSD Animal Health in more than 100 countries.
MSD Animal Health and Nissan Chemical have also agreed to further strengthen their partnership by initiating a joint research and development collaboration for new animal health products, with a view to expanding both businesses in the field of animal health products in the future.
Nissan Chemical will continue to provide a long-term stable supply of “Fluralaner” and further expand and strengthen the competitiveness of its veterinary drug business.
