Meristem Staffs Up To Better Serve Customers
Anna Poduska and Tiffany Earp Bring Experience and Energy To Brand Management and Regulatory Compliance
11 May 2024, Columbus: Experienced account and brand manager Anna Poduska and ag regulatory compliance professional Tiffany Earp have joined the management team at Meristem Crop Performance.
In the new role of branded label business director, Poduska will apply her exceptional experience in crop input brand management to boost Meristem’s efforts to build the most efficient platform for driving farm business success. Earp will apply her deep experience with crop input registration to Meristem’s efforts to accellerate innovation and new product adoption.
“We’ve put together a team of passionate and proven agribusiness leaders to build a scalable platform to help our farm business partners deliver better ROI (return on investment) for the growers they serve,” said Mitch Eviston, Meristem Founder and CEO today in the announcement. “We are so pleased to have Anna and Tiffany on this team to build our product portfolio and enhance our connections with independent, locally-owned farm businesses all across the Corn Belt.”
Anna Baldwin Poduska has a proven track record of brand management, business growth and team engagement with CHS and Exacto, as well as experience rooted in growing up on her family’s farm near Mingo, Iowa. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agronomy from Iowa State University. She and her husband Daniel married in 2023 and now reside in Chelsea, Iowa, near his family’s farm operation.
“It’s an exciting time in agriculture and Meristem is bringing much-needed innovation to crop producers,” says Poduska. “I look forward to being a part of providing more high-quality product opportunities that will help more independent farm businesses and their farmer customers grow more bushels for less.”
Tiffany Earp comes to Meristem from her work as global product stewardship and compliance manager for Locus Agricultural Solutions, a provider of biologicals for a variety of fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, and row crops, where she worked closely with senior leadership to develop, implement, and drive regulatory strategy and compliance to align with commercial strategy.
“I’ve been working with compliance issues encountered with governmental fertilizer, soil amendment and biopesticide product registrations,” says Earp. “Meristem’s Bio-Capsule seed fluency delivery system is a game-changer and there’s much potential for new products and more benefits for farmers.” Earlier, she worked with Decon7 Systems, registering and renewing pesticide products and maintaining SDS (Safety Data Sheets) across 50 states. Earp currently lives near Poolville, Texas with her “rodeo family:” husband Zakk and their two young boys, Eli and Wyatt.
“Innovation follows market access and requires an ‘always on’ willingness to try new technology and new approaches,” says John Gertz, Meristem COO. “We are quickly expanding our platform through dozens of dealers and partners with exposure on millions of acres and Anna and Tiffany are going to help us go further faster.”
