How to Identify Whether Super Phosphate Is Real or Fake?

12 June 2024, New Delhi: Fertilizers play an important role in increasing agricultural production. Farmers can identify real fertilizers by adopting simple methods themselves.

Identification of real super phosphate – Unlike DAP, super phosphate is soft granular and brown, black, or hazelnut in color. It breaks when broken with nails. Super phosphate granules remain intact when heated, they do not swell like DAP. Super phosphate is also available in brown muddy colored powder. If the powder is kept in the open, it absorbs the moisture from the atmosphere and becomes wet.
