A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two parties which will see them working together to explore how they can build capacities and implement good agricultural practices.

There will be an initial focus on integrated Pest Management (IPM) and increasing the use of biological inputs to enhance the production of food which is safer for people and planet within landscape initiatives convened by IDH.

IDH is a foundation that works with business, financiers, governments and civil society to realize sustainable trade in global value chains. The organization believes that action-driven coalitions will drive impact on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and create value for all.

CABI, meanwhile, endeavours to provide information and apply and implement scientific expertise to help solve problems in agriculture and the environment, with a focus on producing more and wasting less product which is safer for both people and the planet.
