Certis Belchim and Redestos Strengthen Partnership to Improve Presence Across the Balkan Region
21 February 2025, US: Certis Belchim BV and Redestos SA, following merger clearance in all relevant jurisdictions, have announced a significant extension to their partnership to strengthen their strategic alliance and market presence in the Balkan region. This will happen through the formation of a new joint venture under the name of KCB Agriscience B.V. As part of this collaboration, Certis Belchim will also acquire a 30% stake in Redestos’ plant protection subsidiary K&N Efthymiadis, covering Greece and Cyprus.
The new company, in which Certis Belchim and Redestos have a 70% and 30% share respectively, is focused on bringing innovative and sustainable crop protection solutions to farmers in key Balkan countries including Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Moldova, and Albania, by integrating their market presence in the region.
