National Agri Input Conclave 2025 to Discuss India’s Path to Agricultural Self-Sufficiency

04 March 2025, New Delhi: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) is all set to host the National Agri Input Conclave on March 25, 2025, at PHD House, New Delhi. With the theme “Walking the Green Mile towards Viksit Bharat by Ensuring Food Security, Economic Growth, and Self-Sufficiency by 2047,” the conclave aims to engage key stakeholders in shaping the future of India’s agricultural sector.

The event will be inaugurated by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, as the Chief Guest. The conclave will bring together industry leaders, government representatives, scientists, policymakers, and agri-input sector delegates to discuss and devise strategies for sustainable agricultural development.

A key focus of the conclave will be ensuring food security in the 21st century, emphasizing how to increase agricultural production while conserving vital resources. The event will feature multiple sessions that will explore transformative strategies, including crop protection for quality food production, the role of smart farming, and insights drawn from the Green Revolution and its future iteration—Green Revolution 2.0. Additionally, discussions will cover the role of agri-inputs in driving sustainable progress, strategies for strengthening economic resilience, and solutions aimed at maximizing resource efficiency and empowering farmers.

The event will also highlight policy discussions on India’s goal of agricultural self-sufficiency by 2047, bringing together a diverse range of participants. These include farmers, producers, policymakers, scientists, agro-industry representatives, students from agricultural institutes, start-ups, and representatives from various farmer organizations and NGOs.

The National Agri Input Conclave 2025 promises to be a key event for anyone involved in India’s agricultural landscape, offering valuable insights into the current challenges and the future of sustainable farming.
