16 September 2024, Jabalpur: Mahindra Tractors has announced the successful completion of Mahindra‘Tractor Tech’ Skill Development Program at Kaushal Vikas Kendra, Jabalpur. Candidates will receive their skill certificates from Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), marking a significant milestone in their career journeys.
Mahindra ‘Tractor Tech’ Skill Development Program provides candidates with industry relevant skill training, followed by on-job training opportunities for rural youth and women, aligning with Honourable Prime Minister Modi’s focus on skill development to leverage India’s demographic dividend. Mahindra Tractors has curated this unique curriculum covering skill development across roles of tractor service, sales, and assembly, delivered by the experienced Mahindra Tractors’ trainers in this field. Through this program, youth get access to the latest technical equipment, coupled with hands-on experience in mobility and mechanisation.
On completion of this program, 46 youth were connected to career opportunities at Mahindra Tractors ‘Placement Diwas’ organised at the centre jointly with Directorate of Agricultural Engineering, Government of Madhya Pradesh. These opportunities were across sales, service, and assembly roles at Mahindra’s dealerships and manufacturing plants, in addition to opportunities across other organisations.
