CropLife India to Host National Conference 2024 on Advancing Agriculture through Partnerships
06 September 2024, New Delhi: CropLife India is set to host a National Conference titled “Driving Prosperity through Partnership: Role of Crop Protection Industry in the Growth of Indian Agriculture” on September 25, 2024, in New Delhi. The event will gather key stakeholders from across the agricultural landscape, including representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, the Central Insecticide Board & Registration Committee (CIB & RC), academia, think tanks, experts, and agrochemical industry leaders.
This high-profile conference aims to explore the vital role that the crop protection industry plays in fostering the growth of Indian agriculture. Discussions will focus on strengthening partnerships between the government, industry, and academia to drive innovation, sustainability, and prosperity for Indian farmers.
CropLife India is an association comprising of 17 R&D-driven member companies, is dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture. Representing around 70% of the Indian market and responsible for 95% of the new molecules introduced in the country, the association’s member companies have a combined annual global R&D spend of $6 billion.
