ASSOCHAM to Host Uttar Pradesh AGRO Pradarshini 2024 in Lucknow

10 December 2024, New Delhi: The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), one of India’s oldest and most prominent industry chambers, is set to host the “Uttar Pradesh AGRO Pradarshini” from December 18 to 20, 2024, at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow. The event aims to catalyze the transformation of Uttar Pradesh’s agricultural and food sectors by showcasing innovative agri-inputs, technologies, and solutions.

Uttar Pradesh, with its vast agricultural potential and significant contribution to India’s food production, stands at the forefront of this initiative. With a large rural population reliant on farming, the event seeks to boost productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, modernize farming practices, and unlock the state’s untapped potential in food processing. ASSOCHAM envisions this expo as a critical step in aligning the agricultural sector with the state’s goal of contributing to India’s trillion-dollar economy.

The Uttar Pradesh AGRO Pradarshini will bring together over 500 exhibitors, 30,000 visitors, 100+ speakers, and 10+ workshops under one roof. Participants will include representatives from the government, industry, academia, and the farming community. The platform will foster discussions and collaborations to enhance entrepreneurship, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and accelerate technological adoption.

Key attractions of the event include:

• ODOP Pavilion: Showcasing the “One District One Product” initiative to promote holistic socio-economic growth across Uttar Pradesh’s diverse regions.
• Geographical Indication (GI) Pavilion: Highlighting effective branding and promotion of geographical indication products.
• Startup Pavilion: Encouraging young entrepreneurs, with a special focus on women-led startups, to innovate and grow in the agri-space.
