15th Brasil AgrochemShow Announces Robust Lineup of Industry Insights

30 May 2024, Brazil: AllierBrasil has announced the highly anticipated 15th edition of the Brasil AgrochemShow, set to take place on August 13th and 14th, 2024, at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. This year’s event promises to be a remarkable gathering of industry professionals, featuring a rich program of lectures and panel discussions delivered by renowned experts and thought leaders.

The organizers have unveiled a robust lineup of sessions that will provide attendees with valuable insights into the key trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the agrochemical industry. Highlights of the agenda include:

  • “Overview, Trends and Challenges in the Pesticide Market” by Filipe Guimarães, Head of Product Marketing Latin America at Syngenta Crop Protection. Guimarães, an agricultural engineer from the Federal University of Paraná with an MBA from Business School São Paulo, will offer a comprehensive analysis of the pesticide market.
  • “IPM (Integrated Pest Management) in Soybean” by Adeney de Freitas Bueno, Head of R&D at Embrapa Soybean and a researcher in entomology. Bueno, an agricultural engineer with an M.Sc. in agronomy from the State University of São Paulo and a Ph.D. in entomology from the University of São Paulo, will share insights on sustainable pest management practices.
  • “Rational Use of Fertilizers” by Godofredo Vitti, Researcher and professor of fertilizer, fertilization, and soil fertility at Esalq/USP, and co-owner of Vittagro Engenharia. Vitti, an agricultural engineer with an M.Sc. in plant production from the State University of São Paulo and a Ph.D. in soil and plant nutrition from the University of São Paulo, will provide guidance on the efficient use of fertilizers.
  • “Coopercitrus Business Expansion and the Future of Cooperatives in Agribusiness” by Fernando Degobbi Sambonovich, CEO of Coopercitrus. Sambonovich, an agricultural engineer from the Federal University of Lavras with a specialization in management from Fundação Dom Cabral and marketing expertise from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, will share insights on the evolving role of cooperatives in the agribusiness landscape.
  • “Overview of Brazilian Economy” by Luiz Fernando Figueiredo, Chairman of Jive Investments and founder of Mauá Capital, and former monetary policy director of the Central Bank of Brazil. Figueiredo, a graduate in business administration with a specialization in finance from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, will provide an insightful analysis of the Brazilian economy.

The 15th Brasil AgrochemShow is expected to attract approximately 1,000 visitors, creating an unparalleled networking opportunity for participants.
