SVG Ventures | THRIVE Announces it’s 2023 Canada Accelerator Cohort

03 February 2023, Calgary: SVG Ventures |THRIVE continues to support high-potential agrifood tech companies through the second iteration of its THRIVE Canada Accelerator program. Following a rigorous selection process, 15 companies with innovative ground-breaking solutions have been selected to participate in the award-winning program that accelerates sustainability, innovation, and technology across the industry.

THRIVE is uniquely positioned to support Canadian entrepreneurs by connecting them with their extensive ecosystem and global network of investors, mentors and corporations. Over the course of the 3 month program companies will refine their go-to-market strategy, connect live with investors and mentors in Silicon Valley and Canada, and build a solid foundation for scalable growth.

Companies were selected for their potential to disrupt traditional farming practices, promote industry sustainability and reduce environmental impact while giving farmers the tools to increase yields and productivity.

“This cohort highlights the strength of Canada’s agrifood industry. We continue to see Canada punch above its weight in innovation and technology in the sector and this cohort is no exception.” said John Cassidy, Managing Director Canada, SVG Ventures|THRIVE, “These companies have the potential to be global leaders some day and we are thrilled to support them along their journey.”
