SVG Ventures |THRIVE Announces ApexBrasil Agtech Immersion Cohort

23 February 2023, California: SVG Ventures | THRIVE is thrilled to announce the 20 companies joining the THRIVE | ApexBrasil Agtech Immersion Program – a unique program focused on accelerating Brazilian based agrifood companies.

The program aims to identify and support top Brazilian entrepreneurs and innovators who are developing cutting edge solutions for the global agtech value chain, providing mentorship and accelerating access to investment, partnerships, networks, and business opportunities in the U.S. and North America.

The top eight companies will participate in a virtual program and will also join THRIVE & ApexBrasil for a week of in-person programming in Silicon Valley in March that includes business & investor roundtables, networking events, workshops, mentorship sessions, and more. An additional 12 companies were selected to participate in the virtual mentorship component of the program.

“We had a strong group of Brazilian Agri-Tech start-ups enrolled at the ApexBrasil | THRIVE Agtech Immersion Program. It was a real challenge for national and international judges to select those who could most benefit from this first cycle. The solutions presented were amazing and innovative and we have great expectations for the future of these companies and the partnership with THRIVE”, said Emanuel Figueira, Manager of ApexBrasil Office in San Francisco.

ApexBrasil’s mission is to develop the competitiveness of Brazilian companies by promoting the internationalization of their business and the attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI). THRIVE is uniquely positioned to support Brazilian companies by connecting them with their extensive ecosystem and global network of investors, mentors and corporations. The immersion program which is an investment and business acceleration program will support companies across the agriculture and food sectors.

The top eight companies selected are: Agrotools, ARPAC, Decoy, DigiFarmz Smart Agriculture, Grao Direto, Pink Farms, Tarvos, Umgrauemeio

The 12 companies joining the virtual mentorship program are: Aegro, Agrointeli, AgTrace, Biotecland, Doroth, IZagro, Krilltech, NetWorld Agro, Plan C, RedSoft, SciCrop, Tbit
